Mandatory Surveillance for Modern Airspace

ADS-B Out (Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast) continuously broadcasts your aircraft's GPS position, altitude, speed, and identification to ATC and nearby traffic. It replaces radar as the primary surveillance technology worldwide.

Since January 2020 in the US, and progressively across EASA, ICAO, and regional authorities, ADS-B Out is mandatory for operating in controlled airspace. Non-compliant aircraft face grounding and fines.
